Job Title: Azure Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote (Quarterly Travel to Waltham, MA)

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform, Azure Networking, GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, and production-grade cloud infrastructure engineering.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing secure enterprise Azure environments, building reusable Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks, and supporting container networking and platform operations in production environments.

This role requires strong automation, troubleshooting, and operational expertise across Azure cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, and container networking technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Terraform Expert Level

  • Design and build reusable Terraform modules.
  • Implement multi-environment Infrastructure-as-Code patterns.
  • Manage remote state configurations and deployment strategies.
  • Develop production-grade Azure infrastructure automation end-to-end.
  • Experience provisioning and deploying enterprise Azure environments using Terraform.

Azure Strong Hands-On Experience

  • Broad experience across Azure cloud services.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise Azure networking architecture and implementation.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available Azure environments.

Azure Networking Expert/Advanced

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • VNETs
  • Subnets
  • NSGs (Network Security Groups)
  • Routing configurations
  • Private connectivity patterns
  • DNS architecture and integration
  • Enterprise-grade security controls and network governance

GitHub Actions Expert Level

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD workflows for:
  • Infrastructure deployments
  • Terraform plan/apply pipelines
  • Application and service deployments
  • Implement automated:
  • Build
  • Test
  • Packaging
  • Release management
  • Multi-environment promotion workflows
  • Experience implementing approvals and deployment controls.

Python Strong

  • Automation scripting
  • Tool integrations
  • Operational utilities
  • CI/CD and infrastructure automation scripting
